Riccardo Tisci proved, yet again, why he’s a consistent trendsetter with his directional and diverse Pre-Fall 2013 collection. This time around, the mirrored print-motifs channeled Islamic tile-mosaics; and symmetrical prints, cascade-ruffle details, heathered-grey woolens, and dramatic architectural volume to the hips of maxi-length, slashed skirts. Seeing a lot more of the scarf print in the resort collections…which makes sense. Perfect for those tropical getaways during the fall or winter season. Personally, I don’t think a resort/cruise collection should be 10 pieces max. Nothing complicated or extravagant. Besides, isn’t it unnecessary pressure on designers?
