Magdalena Frackowiak For Vogue Japan May 2014 Editorial

Magdalena Frackowiak gets tapped to embody the powerful yet fashionable spirit of an ancient muse for Vogue Japan’s May editorial: “Ancient Songs of Praise,” complete with traditional Aztec feather headdresses. The black headdress in particular is from Marc Jacob’s famous Fall finale collection for Louis Vuitton.

Frackowiak poses for photographer Giampaolo Sgura, and is expertly styled by the fashion savvy Anna Dello Russo, in pieces by Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Prada, and Proenza Schouler to name a few. We love how the dynamic images were captured in front of the crumbling moss riddled statues, for a deliberate play in contrasts! Enjoy!!

I don’t get why models pose like that. Can’t even see the clothes.
