Half Drag, Half Man

Through the help of makeup and hair, these men transform themselves and show off their female & male sides simultaneously. Half Drag is an ongoing series of portraits by Leland Bobbe which features Drag Queens in half drag.

Bobbe said his intention is to capture both the male and alter-ego female side of these subjects in one image. Thoughts? Enjoy….xx

the man is stunning as a man in pic 12!!! his fem alter ego is cool though and the last image beautiful as man or woman. 2,4,8,13,16 look good female and male, 3,5,6,9,10,15 cool fem alter egos 7,14,11 better male and still love the face of 12 as man...

I love drag queens; they bring energy and a fun diva attitude. I get a sad feeling when I look at these pictures though. It's almost as if their masculine and feminine sides are both fighting to be seen. I like the concept, but it brought my spirit down. SN: The makeup is on point!!

The wonders of make up, how it can transform you into something else. Some of these men have natural beauty enhance by makeup but all look artist and stunning.

I seriously believe my Godbrother, Danny invented this man/woman effect. In the early 90's he had an act La Cage aux Folles. He would lip-synch the song Endless Love as Diana Ross AND Lionel Richie!
