Once an old carriage house built in 1880, this 4 story, 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bath townhome, originally renovated by Paul Rudolph leaves behind a rich legacy.
101 East 63rd Street, simply known as 101, became famous when legendary fashion designer, Halston, purchased the townhome in 1974. In a time when Studio 54 was the hottest club in New York City, Halston would often have after parties at the home with celebrities such as Bridgette Bardot, Liza Minnelli, Andy Warhol and Bianca Jagger in attendance.
Halston sold the home 2 months before his death, in 1990, to the late Gunter Sachs whose estate is currently selling it for a cool 38.5 million. Definitely the perfect party pad! Enjoy…xx
