Day 3 presented some beautiful fall collections from the designers at fashion week. In a perfect world, I’d purchase Mara Hoffman’s entire collection. The prints, maxi dresses and sheer caftans were everything.
In typical Lacoste fashion, the team brought fun and chic active wear while Son Jong Wan and Jill Stuart focused on silk floral, glitter and sheer fabrics.
Speaking of sheer, it continues to be a trend well into A/W 2012 as it was seen throughout Van Tokyo designs.
The metallic featured in Porter Grey were pleasing to the eye but Rafael Cennamo along with Monique Lhullier collections may have been the highlights of the day. Their intricate beading and details on their after 5 dresses were breathtaking.
Herve Leger featured signature bandage dresses, but surprised us with the bondage inspired leather accessories. Our favorites were definitely the jackets with studs and fringed arms. Enjoy and be sure to let us know your thoughts.
