An exhibition has been opened in the Groninger Museum (Netherlands) entitled ‘Azzedine Alaia in the 21st century’. The exhibition reportedly displays the most incredible creations from Alaia in the past decade.
Each room in the exhibition will focus on a different material that Azzedine Alaïa has consistently used over the past decade: velvet, fur, wool, leather, cotton, animal skins, chiffon and knitwear. Tunisian-born Azzedine Alaïa is one of the most important fashion designers of the last decades. The name Alaïa stands for glamour, sensuality, style, cut, self-confidence, comfort and, of course, sex appeal. His tight dresses embrace the bodies of the world’s most seductive and successful women.
I mean….how amazing are these pieces? Love, love, love. Enjoy….xx
