The Cobra Society ‘Kilim fabric’ Boots Collection

Words can’t express the love I have for The Cobra Society Boots Collection (and the models too). I’m obsessed with the over the knee boots in both brown & black.

Inspired by North African culture and drawing from 20th century design philosophies of Le Corbusier and Giorgio di Sant’Angelo, Alex Davis’s debut collection of designer boots for Fall 2011 are everything and some!

She has studied in France, England and Morocco. She recently worked in London for Peace One Day, the NGO that lobbied for and secured an international day of peace. She interned for Stella McCartney in London; for Dreams Magazine in Paris; and worked for Bismarck Phillips and MMA/L’Agence in Los Angeles.  Alex earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University.

Davis currently lives in Los Angeles (another reason I fell in love). I was also told that no two Cobra Society boots are exactly the same. The Moroccan Kilim fabrics are combined with the highest quality Italian vegetable tanned leathers as virtuous materials are a cornerstone of Cobra Society’s unique luxury. Swoon!

Spotted the tall black over the knee, short black boots here, brown boots here and brown booties here. Enjoy..xx
