Navy Blazer + White Button Up Shirt + DIY Floral Maxi Skirt

When I bought this dress, it was purely to turn it into a maxi skirt. Though I was not interested in the style as a dress, couldn’t help but fall in love with the colors and floral design & pattern.

It was love at first sight –  As soon as it came in the mail, I grabbed a pair of scissors and started cutting. I was done in half an hour. The determination to get it right had me focused. Haha.

I love it and can’t wait to wear it again and again. Layer it up for fall/winter. Enjoy.. xx

The owl neckalce is great! Where is it from? I have a few already but I can make room for one more 😉

  5. I love the idea of turning dresses into skirts by removing the top. It’s because of bloggers like you that I’ve been motivated to do a few diy projects. I turned two dresses that were too short into skirts and recently posted a look wearing gray suede ankle boots that I made from old tall boots. So thank you for the inspiration!
