If I worked at the AOL office in Palo Alto, California, I’d probably never go home make it a hangout spot. I mean.. It looks like a huge playground for geeks (in a good way).
The office was reportedly designed by San Francisco based Studio O+A, who also designed Facebook, Yelp and Paypal offices. Way to get your employees super comfy.
The ceiling is left exposed to take advantage of the height; painting it black hides these unattractive elements while fading it into the backdrop. Playful accessories, wallcovering and furniture materials enhance the spatial arrangement through bold colors, graphic details and dynamic patterns. Architectural hardware has been chosen to complement the industrial aesthetic of the space.
Definitely a great space. Now I’m curious.. I want to know what the offices of Facebook, Yelp and Paypal looks like. Enjoy.. xx
