American Apparel Chiffon Blouse + American Apparel 70s Jeans

I mentioned in this post that it was my little girl’s birthday.

All she wanted was fried rice and chicken, so we took her to her favorite restaurant (Wockano), for dinner. Of course, she only had two bites. OK, maybe four.

She and I were both dressed in gifted pieces from American Apparel. I mean.. Seriously, I don’t think I have ever said this before on here, but I love this outfit. The days of American Apparel being just a comfortable t-shirt brand are over.

I’m wearing the Chiffon Puff Sleeve Blouse in tahiti (color), and these Stretch Twill Wide Leg Pants in blood orange.  Wore the off black pair here.

Again, I went up a couple of size because I wanted the trouser fit. I also intend to machine wash and dry in the dryer, so it will shrink a little.

Since I went up in size, I altered the waist myself. I am completely in love. Enjoy.. xo

I've legitimately been looking for a orange high waited pant for the past few weeks. I think you just gave me what i needed as I never would have looked at AA, didn't even cross my mind.  Love'em!

Really like the jeans

Thank you, D. She had a good time. We are celebrating again on Sunday :)

Stunning! Amazzing! All that and more!!! muah!!

Muah! Thank you, babette :)

It's official. I need those pants. I saw them on another blog recently, but now that I've seen them on an actual body it's confirmed. They are HOT!!!

Eboni, I can assure you that these pants will look amazing on you. Way better than it does on me. Remember to go up sizes, though. xx

Love the color combo.. I really like the background too!!

Thanks, doll. Appreciate it. x

OOOO I love those orange pants!!!  And congrats on the nomination on chictopia.....I hope you win!!! jen http://blankwhiteframes.blogspot.com

Aw, thank you, Jen. I really appreciate the support. xx

I don't think there is ever a day when I don't LOOOOOOOOVEEE what you have on!  Your style is just off the hook!!!  As usual, I Love it!!!! 7eventh Letter http://whatsmoreimportantthanfashion.blogspot.com/

Wow, that means a lot to me, Genelle. You are so kind. Thank you.

OMG, I need to have that pant, it is so gorgeous on you. Wow this one of your best look. :), I know you have a lot of best looks. Are those from slim and tall section or just the regular pants. Sometimes those regular pants don't come in long. Love it.

:D You are too much. Love it. They are just regular pants (unisex, I believe). They are definitely long. That's exactly why I went up a couple of sizes. To add length and to avoid the 'tight' fit. xx

How delightful! It's like a forceful, "No" to the end of summer (which I'm myself tantruming about).

Hahaha. funny enough, I'm looking forward to fall, and tired of summer :) I wear color all year round, so it won't make a difference :)

Oh my freakin' God! This outfit is absolutely gorgeous! Now you know I'm very partial to orange. And it is truly popping off with the tahiti colored blouse! Love it! Just wow!!

Aw, thank you, Cheris. I'm partial to orange too. It's Greg's favorite color. Mine is green :) I'd love to see orange on you. Bet it looks stunning! xx

Perfect color combination. Those Am Ap jeans make your legs look a mile long.

Hahaha.. I love illusions! Thank you, my darling.

But you've also always super nice wide leg and bell bottoms on to, wow this is absolutely my style .... very big compliment
