Plaid Shirt + 70s High Waist Twill Wide Leg Pants

Yesterday, I shared pictures of these pants and other items on facebook & twitter. A special package came in from American Apparel that I can’t wait to feature.

They gifted me with clothes to wear to to the upcoming Beverly Hills Fashion Night Out.

I tried on these 70s high waist (stretch twill wide leg pants), one of the items in the package and immediately fell in love. Now, if you look at the model on the site, it’s fitted on her. I went up a size because I wanted the trouser fit & a longer length.

Besides, once I wash them, they will probably shrink a little. And can I just say that the blood orange pair is so freaking sexy on?

I am carrying the Large Leather Carry-All Pouch also from American Apparel. Hollister shirt, and LindaLu Designs fringe necklace. Enjoy..xx

PS – Let me know if you have further questions about these jeans. I’m happy to help.

I absolutely love the look! I always think I am a little "old" to be rocking AA, but the trousers work. I love the color of the bag also!

Great look. I'm going to get them. I love love high waist pants. My issue is I am only 5'2. You think I can pull them off with a pair of sky high platforms???

Ingrid, you can definitely pull them off with sky high platforms. I have on platforms too :) I refuse to get them shortened. xx

Luv those trousers, but I'm short so I don't know if they would work for me.  Who knew American Apparel had such awesome stuff??

It will work, Sharla. As mentioned above, wear sky high platforms or have them shortened. There is absolutely no height or age limitations on these :)
