Update: My Accessories Shelf

I have to say, I am making progress in my closet. Both clothing & accessories. In the last three weeks, I have been tackling my clothes (still am), and hosted giveaways.

Then my brain switched. And went for the accessories. The last time I did a feature on my accessories, err, this is what it looked like. I needed a solution for my necklaces that were in individual clear bags in a box. Sigh.

Luckily, I found these hooks at Target. They are glued to the wall, so no hammering involved. Right now, I think I assigned ten necklaces to one hook but I need to get more, as there are still some necklaces left in the storage box.

PS- The pieces in display here are my daily rotation and not up for grabs. However, I’m happy to part with some the pieces in storage.. Read below. I’m taking suggestions.

These are a combination of friendship & chain bracelets that I have on heavy rotation. I need to sort out all of my bracelets that I housed in a drawer attached to my vanity. I can’t even think of any immediate solution right now. Keeping them in the drawers seems logical..lol. I’m taking ideas, though.

I’m hanging chains everywhere. Anywhere I see a hook.

So, this is how far I have come.. an update from this. I would love to host a couple of accessory giveaways for my supportive facebook & twitter fam., but I can’t think of a way to do it without it getting out of hand for parties involved.

I definitely don’t have the time to take individual photos of the pieces, so if you have any recommendations, do share. Maybe we can figure something out together. Enjoy.. xo

Such a colourful room!! I love accessories.. but it seems you love them more. Such a colourful Palette!!

Thank you so much, Annette. I do love accessories :)

if i could get 1/4... lol im bad with accessories. i love them but i always second guess myself. your stuff is beautiful and you are too

Thank you much, Michelle. Don't second guess yourself. It's really hard to go wrong with accessories. Trust your instincts :)

OK, I need to hear more about you use of scarves to hold up your jewelry? Please feel me in. That sounds artistic :)

What a beautiful eclectic selection! But not enough, go to www.charismaeclectic.com and pick another piece or two! :-) I'd love to see you in one my creations! Peace&Love, Charisma Lotusenergy@yahoo.com

Ooh Sweetie. I don't know what to tell you. Well, yes I do. First, I love the hooks that you invested in for your necklaces. Looks lovely! Now as far as giveaway ideas. What about grouping your items by color and/or metal-type? Or even doing color schemes. *shrugs* You obviously have lots of accessories. Girl, I swear you're my fashion idol. ;) But it may go smoother by grouping items together by type, color or metal. Not sure if this helped any, but hope so. Hope your weekend has been fabulous! {{Hugs}}

Hahahaha.. This is helpful, Cheris. Anything is helpful right now, because I am clueless. Thank you so much for your sweet words. xxx

WOW!! That collection is intense...and I love it!! I need to sort out all my stuff too, because the basket everything is sitting in is not doing it justice.

Thank you. This sorting out thing can be a little daunting, but you can do it. I promise :)

WOW!!! I am LOVING the color everywhere! So beautiful! Now those are some accessories! Keep ROCKING it DIVA! ~Blessings!  Chari http://charitsinspirationalcreations.blogspot.com/

Aw, thank you, sweets. Appreciate it. xx

My husband says you should bundle little "packages" and do it the same way you do the clothes. I think you should keep the package in a covered box and display box #1, box #2, etc and have people choose which surprise box they would like to have.

Give hubby a "hi five" just for caring and pitching in. LOVE IT. Thanks, Maria.

Gorgeous collection!

AND I thought I was the queen of accessories!! My oh My!! My hubby will be glad to see this!!...This officially puts me off the hook!! What beauties you have there.. 1) Play a game where people email you pictures of their favourite accessory pieces( that they actually own!), On their picture the people involved should write ''RING''..or NECKLACE'' ( as their prefered piece from you), Put pictures in an album on your facebook page etc, then let people vote for the most gorgeous pieces..Depending on how many you wish to give, select the first 3 or 5 voted highest and give away from your closet. Again..you could say the first ten pictures you get enter the ''giveaway''.

You rock, Pam. Many thanks for your input :D xxxx

Hey SP! I LOVE YOUR COLLECTION! I have to say that the transformation from the last pic to now looks awesome! I like your earring rack (not such a pretty word lol, but it works) I keep my earrings on a long mesh that was a whole dollar. I however, do not wear a lot of necklaces and so they are sort of stuffed in a small jewelry box. What I think you are missing is a beautiful bowl for your bracelets...you could even put your rings in them, but I am sure you don't want to sift around the bowl! I am uploading a pic to your fb wall. As for your giveaway you could link a couple of pieces together depending on what you want to give away. (Bracelet, necklace, earring) (Necklace and earring), etc. Then take a picture of the sets together and label them #1, #2, #3, etc. You could do like you do with the clothing and have people pay for the total amount of shipping or say how they would rock them (with what outfit) and you judge from there (That could take some time). Hope this helps! xoxo

I'd pick that piece and rock it all day everyday.

:) Amazing! I can tell you now that if you are going to give that gold necklace with the green beaded hanging pendant, 4th photo: it's bright and beautiful on the right hand side of the picture.... 1st photo: right in the middle. :)
