On Saturday, Greg, I and the girls went over to our friends to celebrate birthdays for a good cause.
In lieu of gifts, the celebrants asked that we donate (by choice) to a charity dear to their heart – The Chushul Children’s Home: A Tibetan orphanage.
In 1998, with the blessing of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Chushul Children’s Home was built outside of Lhasa, Tibet with donated land and labor, and soon filled with orphaned children from the area.
Our son, who is really passionate about helping other kids, would have enjoyed supporting this cause, but he is on travel for the rest of the summer.
I wore this Chinese dress I have had for a while now. I had forgotten I owned it, though, I have it in blue as well and wore it for my engagement party years ago. Will wear it soon to share with you all.
Took some shots of the yummy healthy drinks and the atmosphere. It was a really a relaxing, zen-like mood with a lovely crowd.
Greg and our little girls chillin’…
My girls…they are wearing my line of kids hippie/bohemian clothing called WeWe Clothing!
Beautiful couples..
