Hope you all had a lovely weekend! As always, mine was eventful. Errands with the kids and sorts.
The two older ones (my son & niece) hung out with their “teenage” friends – While the two little ones below, Greg, and I hung out with friends and spent the evening in Santa Monica.
Last week, I shared pictures of the wonderful clothes the girls and I were gifted by American Apparel. I’m still in awe of their generosity.
I wore this chiffon A-line maxi dress. I am obsessed with it. I also love it in this blue and red.
I paired it with a linen vest that I have had in my closet since I was 17 yrs old. I purchased it at The Limited. Are they still around?
My little girls love, love, love their flouncy multi-layered reversible skirt. They are into any outfit that twirls and is princess like.
My nail polish is also by American Apparel. Wearing the neon yellow. Can be purchased here. The leaf necklace is a new one from LindaLu Designs.
They usually wear their hair out in a big fro, but of course, they had to rock the bow hair clip as soon as I showed it to them. In fact, they wanted to wear all of their gifts at once.
This is what it looks like without the vest. I have to get this dress in other colors. So light and comfortable. I wore a pair of super thin leggings under. It was perfect.

I love the bright yellow paired with the neutral vest. The girls look like they are enjoying their fashion; but still being kids.

Love the dress and the color is awesome! Looks great with the vest (& accessories) you paired it with. And yes, the Limited is still around. Lol. I can understand your little princesses excitement. They are adorable! And the flouncy skirts are quite fitting for young fashion diva's in the making. Impossible to resist. =) And yes, I think I'm gonna have to get me a bottle of AE's nail polish.

You are fabulous as are your girls. I am however curiosu as to what you re wearing under the dress. Chifon is see through no?? I am a dark skin sis too but still curious as t whether it can be pulled off with simply dark foundation
Tina, it's quite sheer. I wore a really light pair of leggings/tights under. You won't feel hot because again, it's sheer. It's like wearing a really long tunic over leggings. I LOOOOVE it, and will get the dress in other colors. x
