Sheer Linen Tshirt + Ruffle Maxi Dress

I don’t know about you, but for me, I believe in recycling clothes and playing around with pieces in my closet. There’s absolutely nothing wrong in wearing an item over and over again.

I think the key thing (if you care, that is), is wear it differently the next time, especially if it’s within a few weeks or month. I wore this dress 2 months ago for my daughter’s birthday. You can see the post here.

This time, I decided to change it up by wearing a plain linen t-shirt over it, and changed up the accessories & shoes. (Sorry, this is probably my favorite belt for now.)

Disclaimer: Greg stays having a discussion with me while taking pictures, so yeah, my mouth is open or in motion half the time 🙂

OH, I love this look. I did a very similar look on Wednesday and it was my favorite outfit of the week! You make it look so much better because everything just looks better on you. I’m not fishing for a compliment either. Just stating facts. Just the facts, ma’am.

    Have a fab weekend.

I am in total love with that H&M dress, I saw it a couple of months ago on another blog, and I just can’t get enough of it, I want it 🙂

Love your earrings they just gave me a great idea for DIY earrings, hopefully I can make a similar pair this weekend.

Thank you. The earrings are from a swap meet in LA, unfortunately, I can’t remember the designer’s name this second 🙁

I’ll update as soon as it comes to mind.

Love this layered version of your dress…. very summery. Linen t-shirt, huh? Need to find me some of those… You are the queen of accessories, my dear, especially the stacked bracelets. You pull off that look better than a lot of folks I’ve seen floating around.

      Aw, thank you, shuga.

Got the linen t-shirts from Zara in San Francisco. They had a variety of colors (and on sale), so I couldn’t resist picking up a few 🙂

I was just turned on to your site! I am in love with the way you transformed this maxi. I love the maxi dress. I’m a form, function and fanny pack shopper. I love fashion – a piece must fall on me well, be versatile and the price has to be right. How did you hide the straps?
