So, my friend and I were having a fashion debate the other day. It was all about 70s style high waist pants. I’m for it and adore it on women of all shapes (I also think this of kaftans as well), while she thinks I’m utterly out of my mind.
Personally, I think it’s sexy and gives the illusion of a shapely figure. It flattens the tummy, and accentuates the hips/butt. I think it’s a good thing.
She claims I think that because I’m a “flower child” & I live in my own little world. Hahaha.

I think u hv totally changed how i view kaftans. i used to think it is weird to wear them out and wear them inside the hse but i will for sure rock them outside now. is there anyway i can post them for u to see? i looooooooooooooooooove ur style ur taste is kinda mine. my friends always says am out of my mind for the things tht i normally wear!

I like high waisted pants. I personally don't think I could pull them off. I'm 5'4 and really think they only work on taller women. They look great though.
I was just about to ask how tall she is:) I am much shorter than 5'4 barely 5 feet and I don't think I could pull them off!
I claim 5'7 ( a tiny short of it). I also wear at least 4 inch platforms :)
I live for high-waisted pants and I'm 5' 2". The trick is just as SP mentioned...HIGH HEELS, PLATFORMS, etc. I may not be the most "stylish" person, but those pants get me a ton of compliments and accentuate all the right places!

Ever since seeing you with all your FAB jeans, I've been buying left and right!! I love high-waisted jeans, but then again I love anything retro. THis look is FAB. I stopped commenting for awhile cause I basically say the same thing...every outfit is FAB...lol Hope all is well.
