Oh yeah, I’m totally rocking a fanny pack hip bag! I disguised it as a belt, though. It was PERFECT because Greg and I took the kids to the KCRW Truck Food Festival in Santa Monica yesterday, and I didn’t want to be bothered with a bag.
We had tons of tickets for food to sample all the trucks, so I stuck them, along with my cash and phone in my fanny hip bagelt (OMG – I just made that up. Bag + Belt = Bagelt) – Yes, I’m capable of being a dork. Haha.
Emma of Emma Pintado Hip Bags sent me this floral piece. She hand makes them from recycled materials. I’m going to use this bagelt a lot – especially as a belt. She has a denim one that I am in love with. Enjoy.. xo

I have plans for my cute denim shirt found at Target for $10 :) Why can't I find JS's Dany heels in any other color besides black? Saw them in Dillard's this past weekend :( What brand/color polish are you rocking?
Kerrisa, did you try the site http://www.jessicasimpsoncollection.com/SHOES/Platforms/ ? Also, Ebay is another way to find it (I promise), or Jeffrey Campbell. He made them in different colors too. The denim shirt can do so many wonders in the wardrobe - I can't even begin to tell you. I did a series, where I wore it / style it in 7 different looks http://stylepantry.com/2010/12/23/denim-shirt-red-aa-jeans-clog-boots/ . I wear them all the time. The polish is a lime color I picked up at Forever 21. Less than $3 :) Hope this all helps. xo
Haha.. Thank you, Yanique. Yeah, I think hers are different from the traditional fannies. You can actually style hers up and as I mentioned in the post, disguise as a belt :) xo
one of my favorite looks from you!! always so chic, bohemian, and beautiful! and that nail color rocks.
Lovin' your "bagelt". Haha!! I tend to stay away from them unless I'm running or something similiar to it but the fabric on this definitely causes it to blend in. I also had to look for it.
Thank you, Cheris. Yeah, didn't think I'd be able to pull it off otherwise. I have to say, she has some really cool designs in her collection that way better than the one I have on. x
haha... most fanny packs make me twitch but this one is incognito.. i had to look at the pictures for a few seconds before i found it. lol..... I LIKE :)
Thank you. I'm right there with you on the "twitch", Denise. Trust me, if I didn't think I could make this work, I wouldn't have dared. Haha...
