Car manufacturer Mercedes Benz just unveiled a chocolate-themed version of its Smart car in Tokyo, just in time for St. Valentine’s Day. The car was designed by Tadaaki Wakamatsu for Japanese accessories company, Q-Pot. The car has been painted to look like a bar of chocolate. It retails for around $28,500.
Apparently, Valentine’s Day is taken very seriously in Japan. On the 14th women must give a gift of chocolate to every man in their lives, from boyfriends to bosses. Then, the men reciprocate on White Day when they give (more expensive) gifts to the women.
