So, the H&M Waste Collection was created from leftover fabrics from the Lanvin for H&M Collection.
This collection, called Waste, is now being sold in select H&M stores.
I can totally relate to having excess fabrics leftover from a production and not wanting it to waste (no pun intended). Especially if it’s a big production, so I have to give H&M/Lanvin credit. I end up making pieces for the kiddies and I for months. You can see some of my work here.
Several different fabrics have been used in the same garment to create new graphic and harlequin patterns. Again, just based on principles are knowing “behind the scenes” work, I’ll take the bags… Enjoy..
