Hi-fi, meet Wi-fi. Bowers & Wilkins, known for stellar quality affordable speaker systems, is about to add a new stallion to its already impressive stable.
The Zeppelin Air, an evolution of the popular Zepplin system, will now allow you to play music from your Mac and/or iOs devices (like the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) wirelessly. We use the AirPlay technology in the StylePantry office, streaming music from our iPads through our stereo system that’s connected via an AirPort Express.
But after seeing the beauty of Bowers & Wilkins’ latest offering—which feels like B&O on a budget—we’re adding ourselves to the list to be notified (click on the ‘Register Interest’ button in the upper right-hand corner) when this beast is going to hit the shelves. We’re guessing the price will be somewhere in the range of the previous Zeppelin model which has an MSRP of $599.99.
