Wow, so here is Day Seven of the Paul & Joe for Target denim shirt challenge. Showing the worth of a single denim shirt in your closet, and why you should probably invest in one.
Today, I went for a little bit of a not so serious grunge glam look. It’s Christmas Eve and I’ll be spending it with both mine and Greg’s family. So for the family day/dinner, this is what I’m wearing. I wanted it to feel a bit festive, so I opted for sheer lace. This is actually a dress I designed and made for myself last December for a wedding. I made 3 dresses but ended up going with a totally different style. The lace is embroidered and sheer and has tons of swarovski stones on it (in different colors). To avoid walking around in sheer fabric, I layered with gold satin which is sewn unto the dress for added shimmer.
I will have to show the dress on a different day. It’s a one sleeve, grecian inspired style that was double layered with satin fabric, that’s why my top area looks a little bulky.. if you did or didn’t notice. I tied the denim shirt up and added a pearl necklace.
Day One | Day Two | Day Three | Day Four | Day Five | Day Six
Thank you all for your constant support. I hope I have inspired you just as much as you have inspired and pushed me to keep going. Though Style Pantry is almost 2 yrs old, I only started featuring my daily looks roughly 3 months ago. It has been a blessed experience. When I interview other fashionistas/style bloggers, I always ask this question “Fashion is?” I ask because I believe it’s different for each individual. For me, fashion is simply freedom. Freedom to express myself without a care in the world. I thank you all for the love you have shown me. MERRY CHRISTMAS. And I Love you! xoxo
