Style Interview: Blair of Atlantic Pacific

Had the pleasure of interviewing Blair of Atlantic-Pacific. Her style is so clean and sophisticated. If she had on a trash bag, she’d make it look Avant Garde.

What I love most however, is how she piles on the accessories. A stylish woman after my own heart, I present to you.. Blair aka Atlantic-Pacific.

Name: Blair Eadie

Occupation: Merchant

Single or Married: Not married, but I have a boyfriend!

Where are you from: Outside of Washington DC, but currently living in San Francisco

What inspires your style and how would you describe it: I think the biggest influences on my style are other bloggers.  It is so much more inspiring to see other people who are real and on a budget and who have other jobs (outside of blogging) share their fashion point of view with the world.  I think how accessible their fashion tends to be is refreshing. My fashion is moody and changes from time to time.  For me personally it is hard to explain, but I always try to infuse a touch of sophistication in every outfit wear.

Vintage or latest trend: I adore vintage, but would have to say ‘latest trend’.

Any Style Icons (dead or alive): Again I look up to many bloggers, with Kelly from the The Glamourai as one of my all time favorites!  My current loves in the fashion world are Olivia Palermo, Joanna Hillman, and Diane Kruger.

How do people respond to your style: I work in a casual environment and dress up slightly more than others- so typically it is joke about how ‘glammed up’ I get for the office!

Favorite fashion quote: ‘Be who you are and say what you feel because those who matter don’t mind and those who matter don’t mind’ – Dr.Suess. Although it may not seem like a fashion quote, being fashionable is about expressing who you are.

What are you into this season: I am loving some of the Haute Hippie and Alice and Olivia product out there.  I am a print girl at heart though, so know that when spring rolls around I will be all about DVF!

Favorite piece in your closet: My black Chanel bag.  I try not to spend too much on one individual piece of clothing, but when it comes to a purse- that is an investment.  Oh and my monogram necklace…anyone who knows me knows I love my monogram!

Favorite designers: I love ADAM, Missoni, DVF, YSL, and Tibi.  By the way we are talking if I had all the money in the world…

Favorite stores or brands: Zara, Topshop, H&M, Club Monanco, and Jcrew.

Random: What’s in your purse: Blackberry (that I don’t really know how to use), Prada wallet, Kate Spade polka dot make up case (filled with inexpensive goodies from the drugstore- I don’t spend on make up), one key not on a keychain (why I am always the girl pouring my purse out on my doorstep to find my key), a million loose bobby pins, and a pair of sunglasses hopefully in their case!

Fashion is: Whatever you make of it.

Favorite color/s: Kelly green, sage green, black, and navy…NOT together

Your dream job: I love being a merchant!  I hope to continue down the path I am on and expand my scope through other product categories and brand experience.

When and why did you start blogging: I really enjoyed browsing other blogs. I have always worked in fashion and had a huge passion for styling/fashion. My boyfriend suggested I start one and I did!

Who takes all of your pictures: Andrew, my boyfriend.

Tell us three random things about you (that we don’t know):
I have a potty mouth
I have never been to Europe
I am really awkward getting in and out of cars (a recent realization)

Her style is crazy sick! What an great interview. Her philosophy on style is similar to my own. I dress how I feel. Definitely been checking her blog out a lot lately.

I am absolutely in love with her style! I’d seen Blair on Chictopia before, but it wasn’t until this weekend that I found her blog. I went through the whole thing and saved tons of inspirational images! Thank you for posting this 🙂

    She mis-quoted her favorite quote!
