  • Gypsy Boho Love | Marie Claire Brazil 01.11

By SP on December 31, 2010
I immediately fell in love when I saw this spread. It’s in the January 2011 issue of Marie Clair Brazil. So I titled it GYPSY BOHO LOVE. It was obviously inspired by the indigenous tribe/native Americans. Bless. I want every single piece of clothing and accessories. Again, I’m inspired. Adding these looks to my mood board for 2011. thank u

  • Weekend Collection by Max Mara

By SP on December 31, 2010
You know I love colors. I especially wear bright colors. Notorious for changing my nail polish every week to a nice, bright, happy color. Just got inspired by Max Mara’s Weekend collection as Jacquelyn Jablonski plays the role of a bird lover for the spring 2011 campaign. I think we should all get into the habit of wearing colors regardless […]

  • Holland Wax Print Oxfords

By SP on December 30, 2010
Remember the collaboration I featured here between Boxing Kitten and Osborn? Well, checkout one of their latest. Pretty bad ass oxfords if you ask me. The African in me tends to gravitate towards our fabric(s). I saw the blue ones on highsnobette and had to feature. The shoes are dressed up in a limited-edition Holland wax cotton print. By here […]

  • LindaLu Designs Earrings Giveaway

By SP on December 29, 2010
Linda (owner and designer) at LindaLu Designs was kind enough to give a couple of my lucky readers these earrings. I wear her pieces all the time and I can’t even count the amount of earrings I have from her. It’s very impressive that all of her items are handmade. In addition, when I call to order, I can tell […]

  • H&M’s New Spring Looks; Winter Magazine

By SP on December 28, 2010
Some photos from the new H&M Magazine Winter 2010 issue featuring the ‘Spring Looks’. According to the magazine, Spring 2011 is flirty, playful and classically feminine. I’m definitely looking forward to getting a few pieces. And If my vision is right, the skirt in this first pic looks like a leather, swing type skirt. I am so all over it.. […]

  • Artifact’s Eco Friendly Lunchbag

By greghuntoon on December 28, 2010
Yes, it’s much friendlier for the environment than wrapping your lunch everyday in a brown paper bag that will end up at the bottom of a trash can. But Artifact’s Lunch Bag is also much more stylish. These made to order bags are $45 and are available in olive waxed canvas with a black leather strap. Full description from the […]

  • Gigantic Slides In German university

By SP on December 28, 2010
I wish we had this when I was in college. OK, maybe it wouldn’t have been my choice of transportation from one class to another, but it still looks like fun for the guys, at least. Because I doubt that the ladies will be sliding down these tubes. This is the Technische Universitat in Munich, Germany. The giant tubes are […]

  • Emily Blunt For Harper’s Bazaar UK

By SP on December 27, 2010
I’m a big fan of Emily Blunt, so excited to see her all doll’d up for the January 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK. According to FGR, the lovely actress wears a wardrobe pieced together by Vanessa Coyle and featuring the work of Tom Ford, Gucci, Haider Ackerman, etc. She definitely looks great..  I almost didn’t recognize her. Enjoy..

  • Lacoste Spring 2011 Campaign

By SP on December 27, 2010
Really digging this spring 2011 campaign from Lacoste featuring Liya Kebede and Anja Rubik. Very different from their usually casual clothed ads/campaigns. This is definitely not the Lacoste I am familiar with, but I like it. Doesn’t hurt to have Jon Kortajarena and Noah Mills as eye candies to look at. Enjoy..
