How’s this for memory lane. This dress I have on is so special to me. I bought it with my first paycheck when I worked at The Gap in college. I was 17 years old. I worked at The Gap part-time, so I could buy nice clothes from there with my employee discount (at the time I think it was 40% off, maybe less). I bought this dress, shirt, black thigh-high socks and some other items. I wore this dress the same way with black oxfords. Fast forward 17 years and 3 kids later, I’m wearing the same dress & shirt. Styled the same exact way. I wish I had pictures to show. I’m sure if I dig really hard, I could probably find some pics. I don’t think it looks the way it looked on me 17 years ago, but I’m pleased and proud nonetheless. And I’m keeping it forever.. Perhaps for my daughters (lol). Enjoy.. xo
Okay, I was going to ask your age, but didn't want you to take offense or have me come off rude. Anywho, I clicked on this post and I see the age (indirectly) has been posted!!! OMG, you are doing it for us FAB 30 ladies. If I am correct, we are the same age. I am so OBSESSED with your style and now I can be even more obsessed knowing that you are reppin! Not sure why they put limitations of style/fashion on women over 30. You prove them wrong. Such and inspiration. Lemme go pull out my thigh highs...lol
Hehehe. You are so funny (and sweet), Marsha. I'm 34. Just had my 34th last week.. Nov 12th. I certainly don't put rules on my style vs. age. My rule is NO RULE. I wear whatever I'm comfortable in. You fabulous, Marsha. I read your blog too. I love the 5 days, 5 outfits video. Keep up the good work. xo
