70s Crochet Poncho + Maxi Sweatskirt

Hi, Lovers. Today is a good day! Happy and thankful for good health, my beautiful family and friends. Thankful for Style Pantry readers as well. You keep me updating. Seriously. Often times, I consider slowing it down (due to crazy schedule) or giving it up, but you keep me pumped with your emails, questions, comments and continued support. So, THANK YOU! I’m really excited to pick up my dear friend from the airport today. She is spending the next 5 days with me, and I’m just so ready for some “girl time/talk”. Don’t worry, you’ll meet her. I’ll do a post on us galavanting around town. By the way, it has been raining in LA!! Oh my goodness! It was drizzling when I was taking the pictures..*smile*. I’m limited to taking shots on my patio. Not like I do anything fancy to begin with, but at least I could pics in the courtyard, backyard or something. This is the second time I’m wearing this poncho, though, I have had it for over 6 years. Bought it from a street vendor in Santa Monica. Found it in my closet last month and placed it in plain view. Haha. My sweatskirt is from Urban Outfitters. It’s about 2 years old. I love the huge band on the waist. This is a super comfy and warm outfit on this rainy day. How are you all staying warm? Do tell. Enjoy.. xo

First off, let me say that your hair is gorgeous. Loves the big curls!
    This is a pretty outfit.
I honestly never thought that a sweatskirt would appeal to me but the big band makes it.
Would love to know where you got the earrings. I’m feelin’ them.

As far as weather, I’m Atlanta,GA and we’re kind of back-in-forth here. Yesterday, we were low 80’s. Today we’re back to low 70’s w/sun. I sure hope it stays cool and goes on to get a little cooler quicker. I love to experience every season. Plus I’m itchin’ to rock my open-toe booties, knee boots, and all the other cool weather get-ups.

Hope you and your friend have fun.
    Stay fab!

Ahhh..you are too cool, Cheris! Thank you for your kind comment re my hair. Big rollers does the magic, but the rain is ruining it already. Ugh. The earring are from my sister-in-law and the owner of LindaLu Designs. Here’s a link to her etsy store. http://www.etsy.com/listing/56300302/feather-leather-drop-earrings You can get in touch with her privately, and she can make earrings in any color combo you want. How cool is that?

As far as the weather, sigh! Lucky you in GA. I like it being cool, I just don’t like the rain during the day. I don’t mind it at night 🙂

      Thanks as always!
