Came across these pretty cool bags from Vlieger & Van Dam, a design label based in The Netherlands. The Guardian Angel bag, their first in a series of striking bags, has recently be included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Reportedly, the Dutch designers noticed that people’s perceptions and the fear of violence grew to be greater than the number of crimes actually committed. As a response they wanted to give people the impression of feeling secure, ‘arming’ them with a Guarding Angel handbag. Such a rad & “stylish” concept. Rihanna was recently pictured wearing the bag.
