Gap is sponsoring The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Spring 2010 Costume Institute Exhibition - Titled, American Woman: Fashioning A National Identity, Designers such as Alexander Wang, Rodarte, Sophie Theallet and Thakoon created eight original gowns as seen on the celebrities below. They wore the gowns to the May 3, 2010 Met Gala. Gap is said to donate all proceeds from the auction to The Metropolitan Museum of Art of The Costume Institute.
