Artist Feature: Karo Akpokiere, A Lagos Gem

It doesn’t matter where you’re born…exceptional talent is exceptional talent. Thank God for all of us, Karo Akpokiere has decided to share his talents with us, and we are so proud. Karo, who is Nigerian, grew up in the Lagos 80′s, which shines through in his eclectic style which is brimming with bits of cartoons, graffiti, and bold African shapes and flavor. He is both urban and modern, playful and relevant.

Be sure to check out all of his work below. Something tells me that he will realize one of the goals he strongly desires soon: to own an art-based product company. So, get to know his styles, because you’re going to all be fighting to get your hands on it in the near future.
