Jason Wu, who has designed for the First Lady, Michelle Obama (and continues to), designed the 2009 Life Ball Doll for Integrity Toys in support of HIV and AIDS treatment, research and prevention. The doll is in a piece from Jason Wu’s Fall 2008 ready-to-wear collection.
Below, is a similar design by Oscar De La Renta on Oluchi at The Met Gala last night. Albeit the Oscar piece is a tube dress, we can’t help but see the inspiration drawn. By the way, Oluchi looks radiant and flawless.
