Be honest! We’ll talk pretty often about beauty regimen here, so get used to it and keep coming back for tips. Bring your friends with you
In Los Angeles, I can’t help but notice both men & women with stiff faces. Young, old, everyone’s in. The have a permanent surprise look on their faces, or you feel like they are staring hard at you..asking you a question. Seriously, I was shopping at a store on Beverly drive one day, and I said “huh?” to a lady. Thinking she said something, or asked me a question. She shook her head and said, “nothing” at the same time. But then it quickly dawned on me that she is a botox victim. This chic couldn’t have been more than 28. At the most, 30. Why? Behind the botox, I could see a pretty girl, but..
This is not a picture of her below, however, this is a serious case of botox gone wrong.
The reason I’m bringing this up is because I recently read an interview on Jennifer Aniston, accepting that she had used botox before and will not be using it again. Here is what she said:
“I tried Botox once and it was really not good for me. I felt like I had a weight on my head. I think it makes women look older. Harder. The warmth in their faces goes away. You see women and you know they’re not young, but you can’t tell how old they are. That’s what stopped me.”
I mean, most of our hollywood favorites have and continue to botox up. Nicole Kidman can barely move her face these days, Victoria Beckham has become entirely robotic, Suzanne Sommers’s hormone and vaginal injections – in addition to swallowing 60 pills a day, these celebs are obsessed with staying young. And how can we forget Lil Kim? Remember when she used to be cute? She is looking more like a mix of Barbie/Michael Jackson/Lil Kim.
Readers, what do you think? Will you? Or do you believe in aging gracefully? Will you ever go under the knife if you can afford it? Considering the rate of mis-haps lately. You know…Donda West, Usher’s lady, Tameka Raymond and other non celebs that we barely hear their stories. Would you attempt?
